Mrs Aenone Harper Machin is a highly experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon with specialist expertise in skin cancer surgery, complex reconstruction and aesthetic plastic surgery.

She undertook advanced fellowship training in Canada, gaining valuable international experience in complex plastic and reconstructive surgery within leading specialist centres. This fellowship training has been an important influence on her surgical practice, developing a meticulous and contemporary approach that combines technical precision with an emphasis on natural, functional and lasting results.

Mrs Harper Machin has a particular specialist interest in complex skin cancer surgery and melanoma, including sentinel lymph node biopsy. She has published research on the use of indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence for sentinel lymph node identification in melanoma, contributing to the development of innovative techniques designed to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of melanoma surgery.

She also has a specialist interest in complex head and neck reconstruction following cancer surgery.
